JenniferJennifer has always wished to be a multi-tasking celebrity. As a child she enjoyed all kinds different musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa merengue and bachata, and mainstream music like pop, hip-hop and R&B. She was a big fan of both film and music. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that inspired her the most and was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Apart from becoming a budding entertainment artist, Jennifer is also a Catholic girl who spent eight years at an Catholic elementary school named Holy Family which was located within The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls preschool, Preston High School after an entire four years. In school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. In Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story home. Jennifer was the first to leave her parents' house at age 18 and moved out. During this time, Lopez worked at a law firm , while taking dance jobs in the evening.
