Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, and her mom was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three elder brothers. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at a young age. She would show puppet shows for the neighbors. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was interested in a career in show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her debut major performance in 1964 on the tv spot for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the main character in The Wind It up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to play the eldest of three towheaded daughters in the upcoming TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch was an enormous great success. McCormick stated in her 2008 book Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she nearly ended her relationship in the fifth season of the show with Barry Williams, her co-star and on-screen brother. She was 16 years old at the time. old and the actor was aged 19 at that at the time. The incident would have happened according to her. But, the time for our relationship wasn't right.
